About the TrekKudremukha is the name of a mountain range as well as an individual mountain peak located in the Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka. The region is known for its breathtaking landscapes, rolling grasslands, dense forests, mist-covered valleys, and rich biodiversity.Chennakeshava Temple in Belur is an exquisite example of Hoysala architecture. The temple was constructed using soapstone and took over a hundred years to complete, making it one of the finest architectural marvels in Karnataka.Let’s trek to Kudremukha Peak, the 3rd highest peak in Karnataka, standing tall at an elevation of 1,894 meters above sea level.The word “Kudremukha” literally translates to “horse face” in Kannada, named after the distinctive shape of the mountain peak. The trek offers an unforgettable journey through lush green hills, scenic grasslands, dense forests, waterfalls, and sparkling streams.Kudremukha National Park is home to diverse flora and fauna. Trekkers may spot deer, peacocks, and other wildlife along the trail. One of the most fascinating parts of the trek is crossing multiple streams and waterfalls on the way to the summit.
