Terms of Service
Last updated: July 28, 2026
These Terms govern your use of GroupVoyage, including its public trip directory, user accounts, organiser claims, and organiser dashboard. By using the platform or creating an account, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
GroupVoyage is operated for users and travel organisers in India. The platform is not offered as a travel-booking service outside India.
1. Nature of the platform
GroupVoyage is a discovery and listing platform. We collect and display information about group trips and allow approved organisers to manage their group profiles and trip listings.
Unless we expressly state otherwise, GroupVoyage does not organise or operate trips, act as a travel agent, receive booking payments, issue tickets, or enter into a travel contract with you. A booking link may take you to an organiser's website or another third-party service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use organiser features.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for your credentials and activity performed through your account.
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- You may not impersonate another person, group, or organiser.
3. Claiming and managing a group
To manage a listed group, you must submit truthful evidence that you are authorised to represent it. We may approve, reject, or request additional information for a claim.
Approval provides access to platform management tools. It is not an endorsement, certification, licence, or guarantee of the group or its trips. We may revoke access if authority cannot be verified, a dispute arises, or these Terms are breached.
4. Organiser responsibilities
An organiser using the platform must:
- Be legally authorised to represent the group and offer the listed trip in India.
- Keep trip dates, prices, availability, itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, contact details, and booking links accurate.
- Clearly communicate booking, payment, cancellation, refund, eligibility, health, and safety conditions directly to travellers.
- Obtain any registrations, permits, insurance, permissions, and licences required for its activities.
- Have permission to publish submitted names, contact details, photographs, logos, and other content.
- Promptly correct or remove information that is outdated, misleading, unlawful, or no longer authorised.
- Comply with applicable Indian consumer, advertising, travel, tax, safety, and data-protection laws.
5. Bookings, payments, and trip disputes
Any enquiry, booking, payment, cancellation, refund, or travel contract is between the traveller and the relevant organiser or third-party booking provider. Their terms and privacy practices apply to that transaction.
Before paying or travelling, independently confirm the organiser's identity, current price, availability, itinerary, cancellation policy, safety arrangements, and payment instructions. GroupVoyage is not responsible for an organiser's acts, omissions, cancellations, service quality, payment disputes, injuries, losses, or travel outcomes.
6. Submitted content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant GroupVoyage a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and promote that content as reasonably needed to operate and improve the platform.
You confirm that you own the content or have permission to use and license it. You are responsible for claims arising from content you submit, including intellectual-property and privacy claims.
7. Directory and sourced information
Some listings may be compiled from publicly available organiser websites or social-media pages. This information can become outdated or incomplete. Organisers may contact us to claim, correct, or request removal of a listing.
Logos, photographs, names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Displaying a group or trip does not imply endorsement or partnership.
8. Prohibited use
You must not:
- Submit a false organiser claim or misleading trip listing.
- Publish unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, abusive, or harmful content.
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the platform's security or availability.
- Harvest personal data or use automated scraping without our written permission.
- Resell, copy, or commercially exploit the platform or its directory without permission.
- Use the platform in violation of applicable Indian law or the rights of another person.
9. Review, moderation, and suspension
We may review claims and listings, request evidence, correct formatting, unpublish content, restrict account access, or suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, resolve an ownership dispute, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
We are not required to pre-screen every listing and cannot guarantee that all information is accurate or lawful.
10. Availability and disclaimers
The platform and its directory are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by Indian law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, listing accuracy, organiser reliability, trip safety, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian consumer law.
11. Limitation of responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GroupVoyage is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the directory, reliance on listing information, dealings with an organiser, or use of a third-party website.
Organisers remain responsible for their trips, representations, travellers, payments, refunds, legal compliance, and submitted content.
12. Account termination
You may stop using the service and request account closure by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these Terms, fraud, security risk, legal requirement, or unresolved dispute about authority to manage a group.
Account closure does not automatically remove factual directory listings. Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. Any unresolved dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of a competent court in India, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the platform, business model, or law changes. We will update the date at the top and provide additional notice where required. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
