Kedarnath is a revered Hindu shrine situated in the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river. It stands as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Shiva, symbolizing Lord Shiva's cosmic light. The temple's historical significance spans centuries, attracting saints, scholars, and pilgrims from diverse cultural backgrounds Pandavas, heroes of the epic Mahabharata. After the great war, burdened by guilt for killing their kin, the Pandavas sought Lord Shiva's forgiveness. Shiva, not wanting to forgive easily, transformed himself into a bull and hid among the cattle. When the Pandavas discovered him, Shiva dived into the ground, leaving behind his hump on the surface. The hump is worshipped as the divine conical lingam in the Kedarnath Temple
