Bannerghatta National Park, is a biological park very close to Bangalore. It is situated in the northern most location of Mysuru Elephant Reserve. Today it holds and protects, our endangered animals, flora and fauna, and many other species of animals and plants.

It has over 2300 animals that are belonging to 102 species. All of these are protected under the National Zoo Policy, 1998 in accordance to the (SDG-15) goal of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
